Being obsessed with all things beauty, I am always on the lookout for new and exciting products to try. From skincare to makeup, the beauty world is constantly evolving. As someone who loves trying out new products, I’ve found five products that have become my current obsessions. From a tried and true foundation to a game-changer moisturizer, these items have become staples in my daily routine. Here are the five beauty items I am absolutely obsessed with right now.
Milani- Conceal + Perfect Foundation:
This foundation has become a tried and true for me. When I first started my makeup journey, I only used powder foundations. This was the third liquid foundation I ever tried and I’ve stuck with it ever since. It is a hybrid foundation, with water and silicone-based ingredients, that comes in 45 shades. It provides a matte finish without drying the skin. It is very light-weight and doesn’t leave your skin looking cakey. It is also water and sweat-proof, which I love since I deal with the Arizona heat. This foundation is one that I found lasts all day long. Due to the concealer that is integrated in the product, covering the redness of my skin is quick and easy. This is by far my favorite foundation and I think it’ll always be apart of my daily routine.
OFRA- Charm Your Cheeks Blush Palette:
My journey with blush is one that began recently. I have tried a variety of different brands, but I found this blush palette to be my favorite. This palette is not only compact and easy to travel with, but it also offers a variety of shades to choose from depending on my mood. They are extremely pigmented and really easy to blend. I’ve tried using different types of makeup brushes, and they all work well with the OFRA blush formula. One of my favorite things about this OFRA palette is that all the pans are refillable! The shade “Candy Apple” in the upper right corner is my favorite and I use it the most, which means I will probably hit pan the fastest on that one. Knowing that I can easily replace that shade without having to buy a whole new palette is a game-changer for me.
RedKen- All Soft Mega Curls:
I have curly hair that I straighten multiple times a week. That being said, my hair has lost its shine and softness. This collection, which includes a shampoo, conditioner and leave-in treatment, has caused a noticeable difference in my hair. My hair is no longer looking dry and damaged. Instead, it looks healthy and has a nice shine to it. My hair is also extremely soft! After using these products, I honestly couldn’t stop running my hands through my hair. I was skeptical about using the leave-in treatment at first because in the past I found that they made my hair almost heavy and greasy looking. However, that isn’t the case with this one. I use a small amount and apply to my damp hair and I haven’t had any issues with it.
The nourishing ingredients in these products are amazing as well. One of the key ingredients in this collection is aloe vera, which can help promote healthier hair growth and reduce breakage. Cactus flower extract is also an ingredient which is rich in antioxidants that helps hydrate and nourish hair. Finally, inca inchi oil is high in omega-3 fatty acids, which can help to strengthen hair and prevent breakage. This oil is also deeply moisturizing, reducing frizz and promoting shine in curly hair. I have used these products for over a month now and don’t see myself stopping anytime soon.
Touch in Sol- Icy Sherbet Primer:
I absolutely love the Touch In Sol Icy Sherbet Primer! As someone with sensitive skin and noticeable pores, I’m always on the lookout for a product that’s gentle and fixes my problem areas. This primer did just that and more! The texture is like a gel balm and it has a cooling effect when applied, which I found to be very refreshing. Not only did it cause no reactions to my skin, but it also minimized how my pores looked underneath my makeup, making it a must-have in my makeup routine.
Comparing this primer to others I’ve used in the past, I found that it lasted throughout the day without leaving my skin feeling greasy or heavy. In fact, it felt really lightweight, like I wasn’t wearing any primer at all! The fact that it contains no harmful ingredients, such as parabens, sulfates, or phthalates, is also a huge plus for me.
Murad- City Skin Overnight Detox Moisturizer:
As previously mentioned, I have pretty sensitive skin that is prone to redness. I have been using this moisturizer for about a year now, and I must say, it has made a big difference in my skin’s texture and appearance. This product has effectively reduced my redness and my skin feels a lot more hydrated. Prior to using this product, I often woke up with dry patches on the sides of my nose, but since I started using this moisturizer, I haven’t had that issue. Another thing I love about this product is how lightweight and non-greasy it feels on the skin. It absorbs quickly and leaves my skin feeling soft and nourished without any heaviness.
